ABOUT ME
My name is Daniel Langston, and I graduated from the University of West Georgia in the Spring of 2021 receiving a degree in Marketing along with a certificate in Advertising. I currently reside in Senoia, Georgia working as an Inside Sales Representative for the Atlanta Hawks. On this website, I want to give a true image of the person that I really am. In the workplace, I am seen as a hardworking, persistent, coachable, accountable, and punctual person. Outside of work I am a loving, caring, honest family man.
Growing up, I was fortunate to witness parents that gave their all. My Dad is an Own-operating truck driver and my mom is an APS Social Worker. I have never witnessed them complain or slack in any aspect of their life. Their work ethic rubbed off on their four children (Darryl, Dondrika, Daniel, and Destinee). Which has given me a true vision of what it takes to make the best of your life. Being the second to youngest, I was inspired by how my two older siblings who took the initiative to be pioneers in our family receiving bachelor's and master's degrees. I remember when I was 18 years old, I told myself that no matter what opportunity is on my path I would give 110% to not leave any regret on the table.
Five years later, I am doing just that as an Inside Sale Representative. My mission is to create an amazing experience for businesses and consumers by going above and beyond. There is no greater feeling than seeing a client and/or client's friends/family smile while enjoying themselves at any event we host. I have gained so much valuable knowledge on sales and marketing that will carry along with me for a lifetime. Still, at 23 years of age, I hunger for more knowledge while also spreading what I know by teaching others. There is so much that I am excited about in my future to make my footprint on this earth.
WHAT MORALITY MEANS TO ME
No matter what setting I’m in, there has always been one line that I have heard so many people say, “Daniel, you are such a virtuous person.” I soon began my own research on what it is that makes me so moral. I decided to take the Myers-Briggs test which is quite long and tedious yet provides valuable information on your personality type. My results came back as INFJ which is better known as an advocate. Some recognizable faces that are also INFJs are people like Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, and Morgan Freeman. A line that resonated with me the most when reading the characteristics was “Thoughtful and compassionate, Advocates pour a great deal of energy and care into their relationships", 16 Personalities. This was deep for me because when it comes to family, friends, and work I give my blood, sweat, and tears into the things that I love. I am a person that people come to for advice and guidance. I understand what could be a great option for the best benefit of my job's company or for a lifelong friend.
Now that I am more self-aware of who I am as a person, I have walked more into my destiny. I hold myself accountable to be an integral person that doesn’t cut corners while also treating people the exact same way I wish to be treated. INFJs are the rarest personality traits yet they make the greatest of both managers and employees. I’ve learned to shoot for the stars and land on the moon. I want to get out of my comfort zone while helping others around me. Therefore, I hope to inspire anyone that reads this to learn more about yourself and no matter what situation you're in, be a light in someone's day because you never know what people are going through.
